A beautiful campground, very quiet, large spacious sites along lake. Paved sites very level with full hook-ups. Shade trees, bath house had laundry facilities. Nice hiking trails, bike paths. Marina store close by for ice, groceries.
Very loud and noisy campground with numerous kids/dogs running around. Sites are very close to each other. Campground is adjacent to a small amusement park that connects to the campground and is open until 11pm on weekend nights. This was a very expensive campground, friendly staff, expensive store, ice cream parlor and pizza shack. They want to charge an additional $3.00 per night if you want to use your A/C even when paying $57.00/night for full hook-ups.
Full hook up sites lined up along road adjacent to river. Close together, level but very wet and muddy with rain. We were evacuated in the early morning due to rain the day before and the river rising. Grassy, tall trees for shade.
Some shaded sites, not very level near the lake. Other sites with no shade, all grass and gravel out along the enter/entrance loop road. Water connection was a major problem and the water faucet is shared between 2 campsites which can be spaced fairly far apart. Bring lots of hose with you and know which side your hook-up is on. It took 30 minutes changing sites just to find one to accomodate our RV hookup and lack of significant lengthy hoses.
Great friendly, quiet campground. No paved or graveled sites, you park on the grass and need to do some leveling. Bath house and showers are very clean. Water was a little rusty. Road to get down into campsite is dirt and windy through the woods. We had a great time, lots of open space and friendly campers. They also have a store with essential supplies, novelty foods and information.
We reserved this site on-line unaware that there is not any water hook-ups except for a few limited sites. Lots of families-can be noisy at times. Graveled pull-thru site or back in sites with graveled picnic table area.
Spacious sites, all sites do not have electric and water, the sites that do are marked with an E in front of their #. Un-level sites required a lot of leveling. Very desert climate and surroundings, no trees, hot and windy. Closest store for ice/milk is 15 miles. Headquarters closes at 4:45, first come, first serve for site assignment.
